Battery Life for CPAP Machine Users:

With the humidifier or heated tubing activated, expect the battery to last approximately 2-4 hours. For extended battery life up to 8-16 hours, you can disable both features:

1. Ensure your heated tubing and water reservoir/humidifier are connected to your CPAP device.
2. Power on your Air-sense 10. You should see 'My Options' and 'Sleep Report'.
3. Navigate to 'My Options' by turning the dial to the right of the screen.
4. Before adjusting, consider noting down your current settings: 'climate ctrl', 'humidity level', and 'tube temp'. If 'climate ctrl' is on automatic, the 'humidity level' option won't be visible.
5. In 'My Options', rotate the dial to 'climate ctrl' and select. Set this to Manual to disable both the humidifier and heated tubing.
6. Next, select 'humidity level'. If set between 1-8, turn the dial to 'off'.
7. Lastly, go to 'tube temperature' and set it to 'off'.

You may rest easy knowing that your CPAP machine will not stop working in the middle of the night if you use the Pilot-24 Lite as a permanent power backup device. If the power goes out at night, your CPAP machine will continue to run on the power from your Pilot-24.

You can continue your CPAP therapy while travelling by using the Pilot-24 as a portable travel CPAP battery. This covers isolated areas where there is no access to mains electricity, such as while camping, travelling by car, or flying.
